The economics of running a sport federation have never been more demanding. Membership fees don't cover programme costs. Grant funding is competitive. Sponsorship requires relationships that take years to build. Meanwhile, there's a commercially engaged fan and member base that wants to buy — jerseys, tickets, event passes, branded merchandise — and nowhere obvious to do it.

The barrier isn't demand. It's operational complexity. Running an online shop means managing inventory, coordinating fulfilment, handling returns, forecasting demand, and updating product listings — on top of everything else. For most federations and clubs, that overhead is prohibitive. So they either outsource with poor margins, or leave the revenue entirely.

The result is a missed opportunity that compounds annually: fans who wanted to buy, didn't. Revenue that could have funded youth development, wasn't generated. A commercial relationship with your community, left undeveloped.
